For this project, I created a mask depicting an antagonistic character from a fantasy story; Mort the Insatiable. The goal was to create it so it looked like a human's skull had stretched into the shape of a bird's skull, pulling and creasing the flesh on top of it unnaturally. I wanted the human part of him to be evident but warped to make people feel uncomfortable when looking at the mask.
